• SURP: The Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) is an umbrella organization that administers and scaffolds summer undergraduate research opportunities within UCLA Samueli. SURP is a program of the Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science.

• Book of Why: The Book of Why is a seminal book by UCLA’s own Dr. Judea Pearl about causal inference, counterfactual reasoning, and the ladder of causation.

• St. Matthew’s Music Guild: Classical concert series with a mix of choirs, chamber orchestra and top soloists, with commissioned world premieres each season, in a venue where no seat is far from the stage.

• ELC: The California Engineering Liaison Council brings together community colleges and four-year schools to discuss articulation of engineering courses and programs across systems, share best practices in engineering instruction, and other matters of mutual interest. There are meetings twice per year.

• UCLA Samueli Engineering Transfer Center: The center provides services to engineering transfer students from time of admission until graduation, including summer bridge programs, tutoring, counseling, and assistance in becoming engaged in professional development activities.
